Methi refers to the leaf part of fenugreek. Compared to dried methi, which is used as a fresh methi herb, the aroma is milder. These are the fresh leaves harvested before drying, known as Kasuri Methi. In India, it is commonly eaten as a vegetable.
Since the stems can be tough, it is recommended to separate and use them apart from the leaves.
